Fantasyland Forest Theatre Details
The Fantasyland Forest Theatre is a 1,500 seat Broadway-style theater complete with a massive turntable, extensive fly loft and precision projection system. The theater is designed to appear as if it was built by artists who constructed everything from the natural materials found in the forest. Nothing looks like it was made by a machine; everything appears as if it was crafted by hand. The debut show is “Mickey’s Magical Music World.” Mickey and the gang find a magic music box in the woods that transports them into beloved musical numbers. The show features aerial acrobatics, projection effects, massive set changes and an on-stage magical costume transformation, as well as the original composition, “It’s Your Song.”
The show was designed, built, cast, rehearsed and completed with the rest of the expansion, but due to the pandemic did not open until April 1, 2021.
